Location: Denver and Steamboat Springs, CO

Growing up in southern California has had countless benefits. The year-round mild weather is convenient and pleasant. However, there’s something about the beauty of fresh snow and falling leaves that has sparked a craving in me. This season, with the hopes of becoming fully immersed in winter weather, my boyfriend and I took a trip to Colorado. See below for cold weather outfit inspiration and photos of the scenery!

Outfit One: Denim Button Up

For this outfit, I layered a medium wash denim shirt under a faux fur jacket. I chose black leather pants to add some edge and over-the-knee boots for added warmth. For more color, I applied some berry colored lipstick.

Outfit Two: Monochromatic Layers

For this look, I wanted to keep things simple color-wise. I layered a white typography tee under a black lace slip tank and topped that off with a black peacoat. The medium wash jeans help to break up the black while the boots help to tie it back in.

Outfit Three: Turtle Neck and Faux Fur

This outfit really lets the faux fur coat take center stage. The black turtle neck tucked into the high waisted jeans cinches in my waist and pulls out the colors in the coat pattern.
