Off-shoulder tops have made their way up to my number one favorite summer trend. Not only do they provide relief from the heat, but they also add sophisticated femininity to an outfit. While I used to just wear them alone as tops, I’ve recently been loving the look of a loose dress thrown over an off-shoulder top.
This look reminds me of the overalls trend, but it allows the wearer more flexibility when it comes to styling and personalizing the look. Above, I paired my tight black off-shoulder crop top with a black floral dress. I paired the look with black chunk heels and simple accessories.
This look embraces the same idea, but I added a choker and switched up the dress pattern. I added a choker because I think they successfully highlight the open neckline.
Another one of my favorite ways to wear off-shoulder tops is tucked into skirts, shorts, or jeans. In this case, I added a belt and a chambray shirt to balance out the otherwise form-fitting outfit.
Thanks so much for reading and I look forward to having you back!
